Emily Saab is an interdisciplinary artist exploring the bounds of agency, endurance and transformation. She is descended from Eurpoean settlers and Lebanese immigrants who made their home on unceded Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq territory in southern New Brunswick. Emily held the position of Executive Director at Third Space from 2016 to 2018 and currently serves on the Saint John Arts Centre’s board of directors. She co-founded Visitors, an artist-powered shop and gallery with her collaborator, KC Wilcox and plays drums in an experimental, post-punk band called, Usse. Emily has a BFA from Mount Allison University (2011) and currently lives and works in Saint John, New Brunswick.
